MQM announces 2-day token hunger strike at Karachi Press Club

The Muttahida Quami Movement has announced a two-day token hunger strike against illegal raids, arrests, forceful disappearances, unannounced ban on political activities and ban on media appearances of MQM Chief Mr. Altaf Hussain at Karachi Press Club from tomorrow.
MQM Parliamentarians, office-bearers, families of martyr, detained and forcefully disappeared persons, workers and supporters will sit on Hunger Strike. It said that the protest demonstration would start at 1 PM and continued till 7 PM and would also carry on Friday.
Meanwhile, MQM has appealed people, including lawyers, human rights activists and others to participate in the demonstration to raise voice against the ongoing discriminations with MQM. It said that MQM had been struggle to strengthen the democracy in Pakistan and all the democratic forces should come up to support MQM.
