The spokesman of Muttahida Quami Movement strongly condemned two-layer justice system carrying out by the Sindh government and Rangers in the province, especially treating Muhajirs with biasness.
In a statement, the spokesman commented on an official call on of DG Rangers to the Chief Minister Sindh Syed Qaim Ali Shah to ask permission to arrest the criminals involved in attacking the Rangers party in Larkana and got released an alleged criminal Asad Kharal. He condemned the DG Rangers’ prejudicial attitudes towards MQM’s innocent workers and leadership.
He said that the DG Rangers was asking permission to arrest some influential criminals from interior Sindh while carrying out illegal raids and arrests of MQM workers. He said it was incomprehensible that the Rangers’s head was pleading the CM Sindh to arrest criminals who made hostage to the Rangers’ personnel and ridiculously confiscated their weapons.
MQM’s spokesman said that the Rangers raided and arrested MQM workers and leaders on the bases of false and concocted allegations even the elder sister’s house of MQM Chief Mr. Altaf Hussain was also raided. He said that more than 135 MQM’s workers were forcefully disappeared after their arrests by the Rangers and some 61 innocent workers were extra-judicially killed.
He said that rather appreciating MQM’s goodwill gesture and reciprocated it accordingly, MQM Chief Mr. Altaf Hussain was illegally and unconstitutionally banned on media. He said that if such biased treatments would be continued with Muhajirs then their anger could not be controlled because nobody could accept two different laws for Karachi and Larkana.
