Altaf Hussain states no differences between MQM, army

The founder and leader of Muttahida Quami Movement Mr. Altaf Hussain categorically said that MQM had no quarrel with the army and respected the national institution as others did.
Addressing to the various gatherings at all over the country, including Karachi, America and Canada, MQM Chief said that he and his party could never think to fight with the army but some elements in the army created differences between MQM and the army. He said that he and MQM on various occasions expressed solidarity with the army.
He said that some of the army officers was not committed with their cause and doing against the national interest. He addressed to the Chief of Army Staff General Raheel Sharif and said that MQM and Altaf Hussain were not perpetrators but some of his army officers were crossing their limits and manipulating people’s rights.
Mr. Hussain said that when MQM expelled out the corrupt elements from it, they had been brought back with support of some of army officials. He said that thieves, extortionists, China cutting experts and encroachers were given protections and money to counter MQM. He said it was incomprehensible that who gave authorities to those uniformed men to exploit people’s mandate in Karachi and urban Sindh.
He said that some biased anchorpersons continuously stimulating the situation by supporting such elements and never talked about the Balochistan, Fata and other parts of the country. He said that those anchorpersons deliberately creating chaos about the peace in the Karachi and suggesting for more severe action.
Mr. Hussain said the DG Rangers Bilal Akbar did not allow Khdimat-e-Khalq Foundation (KKF) to collect Fitra and hides that was the second biggest charity organization in the country. He said that KKF had been carrying out some serious welfare activities.
He said that the DG Rangers ordered to snatch the sacrificial hides from MQM workers for the last two years. He said that if someone exploiting his authority on the bases of prejudices and loathes should not be called a tyrant?
He said that more than 12 MQM workers were arrested in Dhabeji and among them Hammad Zaidi, Amir Bhayya, Suhail and Khalid Jameel were being brutally tortured for collecting Fitra for MQM. He demanded the COAS General Raheel Sharif to immediately release all the arrested workers and to take serious action against who involved in illegal activities.
MQM Chief said that the Rangers had imposed ban on collections of Fitra and Zakat, and threatened MQM representatives and workers while the banned outfits were freely collecting funds. Finally, Mr. Hussain also felicitated all the workers and supporters of MQM for Eid-ul-Azha in advance.
