The founder and leader of Muttahida Quami Movement Mr. Altaf Hussain appealed to the Army Chief General Raheel Sharif to do justice with 60 MQM workers who were the victims of extra-judicial or custodial killings.
Addressing to the gatherings of MQM workers and supporters in Karachi, Hyderabad and other cities of Sindh, MQM Chief said that if the Army Chief wanted to maintain impartial justice in the country then he should bring all the Rangers personnel before the justice who involved in extra-judicial or custodial killings of MQM workers. He said that the innocent Muhajir youth sacrificed their precious lives for the cause and Allah will definitely punish all the murderers of MQM’s innocent martyrs.
He said that if MQM would come into the power then it would take revenge all the innocent martyrs and would execute Islamic law to retaliate. He said MQM is a political party and would practice all the democratic norms to maintain law and order in the country but some conspiring elements kept executing their malice agendas against it.
Mr. Hussain said that the people had celebrated the 38th Foundation Day of All Pakistan Muttahida Students Organization (APMSO) and he did not know what would be their reactions, sentiments and thoughts on 39th anniversary. He said that for the last 25 years, he had been struggling to educate and mature people.
He said that on 19th June 1992, the army started an operation against the Mhajirs who were the founders of Pakistan. He said that during that operation the army involved in killings of innocent Muhajirs, vandalized their properties and the national television was used to propagate against MQM and Muhajirs.
MQM Chief said that the forcefully recorded confessional statements of MQM workers were telecasted on national television and international journalists were perverted by discovering MQM’s torture cells. He said it was evident that MQM workers were intoxicated and brutally tortured for giving their designed confessional statements.
He said that the security forces always found the civilians guilty and to propagate their conspiracies, they used some conscious-ridden journalists who toed their lines to brainwashing of the nation. He said that everybody knew that the army killed five people in an encounter in Sukkur but the people were witness that all the five victims were blindfolded when fired to death.
Mr. Hussain said that the Karachi-operation 2013 was started against the jet-black terrorists but turned towards MQM similarly the notorious 1992 Army Operation. He said that no actual terrorists and criminals were arrested ever during both operations while more than 15 thousands MQM’s innocent workers were martyred in extra-judicial killings.
He said that the Rangers and LEAs supporting the terrorists and criminals, including Uzair Baloch and Qadir Patil, who involved in hundreds of murders of innocent civilians. He said that Zulfiqar Mirza created Lyari Amn Committee led by jet-black terrorists involved in various killings, extortions, kidnappings, robberies and other heinous crimes.
He said that the Rangers had forcefully disappeared more than 135 leaders and workers, while more than 60 workers were extra-judicially killed in Rangers custody. He appealed to the COAS General Raheel Sharif that if he was impartial and fair to do justice, then should investigate 60 and odd extra-judicially murders in Rangers custody and bring the criminals before the justice.
MQM Chief said that he appealed the COAS in his earlier speech that the DG Rangers should be arrested for extra-judicial murder of MQM worker Aftab Ahmed. He said that how the Muhajirs would be killed by their own army like the birds and animals and how long they would receive their loved ones dead bodies.
He said that during Nafaz-e-Mustafa Tehreek, the army was ordered to fire on the protestors but the officers and soldiers denied the order to kill their own people. He said that the COAS was a brave soldier took a daring step to start the “Zarb-e-Azb” operation but seemingly could not get rid of his prejudices against Muhajirs.
He said that the Rangers were trying to create hurdle in collection of Fitra and Zakat like they did in the last year. He said that yesterday one of the Supreme Court’s Judges asked about the petrol pump ownership and he was responded that the Rangers were not own any petrol pumps but had shares and if the Rangers would involve in financial business then how the peace of the city could be maintained.
