The founder and leader of Muttahida Quami Movement Mr. Altaf Hussain said that the Muhajirs were being deprived of their due rights and a continuous injustice was going on with them, while the rest of the world seemed treating it as alien issue.
Addressing to the participants of a gathering on the occasion of 38th Foundation Day of All Pakistan Muttahida Students Organization (APMSO) organized by the MQM UK Chapter in London, MQM Chief demanded to immediately stop such suppression with Muhajirs. He said that to provide their fundamental rights, new provinces or administrative units should be made.
Mr. Hussain said that if the people’s voice would be crushed under undue suppression by using state machineries, they could opt some unpleasant way to get their rights. He said that the Muhajirs were being aligned far enough to resist against such state driven discriminations that would result no good to anyone.
Meanwhile, he thoroughly felicitated all the participants of the function, especially the workers of APMSI on the occasion of 38th Foundation Day. He said that the Muhajirs were being deprived and discriminated in every department of life illegally and unconstitutionally by the help of state power.
Addressing to the British-Pakistani students, MQM Chief said that what would they do if their fellow students would taunt and tease them over their dressing and other stuff? He said what would they feel and what would be their reaction? He said, it is ultimately to loose one’s temper after such continuous violation and discrimination of human rights.
Mr. Hussain recalled that the Quaid-e-Azam was initially part of All India National Congress and after observing continuous discriminations and violation of rights of the Muslims, he decided to join All India Muslim League to fight for the rights of deprived fellow faithful. He said MQM is also having same legacy of Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah to struggle for the rights of deprived people.
He said that MQM rendered more than 20 thousands sacrifices of precious lives of its dedicated and committed workers in the line of duty to provide rights to the deprived segment of the society. He said but the feudal and establishment elite continuously violating the rights by state power and innocent civilians were being murdered in extra-judicial killings.
He said that it was quite natural to react against such discriminations and even the Islamic Sharia and UN Charter gave the same rights to the people being illegally or unconstitutionally deprived by excessive vanity and prejudices. He said that the Muhajirs were the children of the founders of Pakistan and should be given all due rights of a Pakistani citizen.
Mr. Hussain said that if the authorities would accept Muhajirs and give them equal opportunity to serve Pakistan, it was sure that the country would progress unprecedentedly. He once again congratulated all party workers, especially the youth of APMSO for organizing such a fabulous gathering to project people’s issues.
