APMSO holds “Renewal of covenant of Faithfulness” on 38th Foundation Day
KARACHI, 11-06-2016:
The All Pakistan Muttahida Students Organization (APMSO) has organized a programme “the Renewal of Covenant of Faithfulness” at Khursheed Begum Secretariat, where the APMSO workers reaffirmed their pledge to be faithful to MQM Chief Mr. Altaf Hussain.
All the workers and office-bearers of APMSO pledged to be loyal to the founder and leader of Muttahida Quami Movement Mr. Altaf Hussain. The programme was attended by a huge number of participants, including member Coordination Committee Syed Aminul Haq, Zareen Majeed, Chairman APMSO Sarfaraz Ahmed and others.
Addressing on the occasion Zareen Majeed felicitated all the workers on behalf of Mr. Hussain on 38th Foundation Day of APMSO and said that it would be landmark for attaining new province. She said that on the same day 11th June 1978 Altaf Hussain founded APMSO to remove frustration and deprivation among the Muhajir students of University of Karachi.
She said that it was APMSO that produced the fourth largest political party in the country and brought poor and lower middle-class people into the Parliaments. She said that the APMSO was founded in reaction of continuous discriminations of Muhajirs rights like it was practiced that the job advertisements were given with instructions for urban population of Sindh that not to be bothered to apply.
Zareen Majeed said that the foundation of APMSO let the people of urban Sindh to start a struggle to achieve their due rights and now it was movement to support all the communal entities to remove their grievances. She said that Altaf Hussain always demanded to provide rights to the people and the 38th founding anniversary would be a decisive movement for rights struggle.
