MQM condemns Haqiqi terrorists for workers torture

The Coordination Committee of Muttahida Quami Movement strongly condemned the brutal torture on workers and indiscriminate firing by the Haqiqi terrorists in Lines Area and demanded to apprehend all the terrorists involved torturing MQM workers.

In a statement, the Coordination Committee said that the terrorists should be brought before the court and should be given exemplary punishments. It said that Lines Area office-bearer Masroor and worker Wali Muhammad were sitting at Chotu ground in Lines Area where the Haqiqi came on nearly up to 50 motorcycles and brutally tortured and threatened them to death.

The Committee said the injured were sent to Jinnah Hospital for medical treatments. It said that few days earlier MQM workers Asim Hussain, Fahad Zaki were brutally killed and Ameer Haider was injured by the Haqiqi terrorists in various parts of the city.

The Coordination Committee demanded Chief Minister Sindh Syed Qaim Ali Shah, Home Minister Sindh Anwar Sayal, DG Rangers and Police officials to take stern notice against such incidents and the Haqiqi terrorists should be apprehended and brought before the justice. It said that the terrorists once again built no-go areas in the city while the Law Enforcement Agencies seemed spectators.
