MQM shows concerns over water crisis

The Coordination Committee of Muttahida Quami Movement expressed its grave concerns over the serious water crisis in the city and said that the people had been deprived of their fundamental rights.
In a statement the Coordination Committee said that the connivance of Water Board administration tanker mafia compelled people to be deprived of their basic essential. It said that the people had to thousands of rupees for purchasing water through tanker mafia during such a summer hot days.
The Committee said that the Sindh government should immediately complete the K-4 project to fulfill the needs of Karachiites. It said that WB administration should rectify its water supply system before the upcoming Ramadan. It also demanded the Chief Minister Sindh Syed Qaim Ali Shah and Provincial Minister for Local Government Jam Khan Shoro to pay special attention and resolve the issue on priority.
