MQM condemns KE on unannounced laodshedding

The Coordination Committee of Muttahida Quami Movement strongly condemned the K-Electric over unscheduled and unannounced laodshedding causing loss of precious lives in the city.
In a statement the Coordination Committee said that the KE continued the loadshedding with number of lame excuses which ultimately brought water shortage in the city. It said that the KE should have completed all the technical maintenance in winter season so the people could be relieved during hot summer days.
The Committee said that the people had been bearing the arrogance of KE management and over billing issue yet to be resolved despite several protests. It said that the KE and the government did not pay any heeds to the people’s protests and not looking to resolve the issue.
The Coordination Committee demanded the Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif and Chief Minister Sindh Syed Qaim Ali Shah to take immediate notice against unannounced and prolonged loadshedding. It said that the KE should be told to stop loadshedding especially during summer days to ease people.
