They also donated their blood to express their love and affection with Mr Hussain at the camp that functioned from 10am to 6pm.
Speaking on the occasion, the Coordination Committee’s Deputy Convener, Dr Khalid Maqbool Siddiqui, lauded the Medical-Aid Committee for organizing the blood donation camp and said that spirit behind the programme was Altaf Hussain’s philosophy of serving ailing humanity.
He said that at a time when thousands of precious lives were lost merely because of non-availability medicines and blood, the Medical Aid Committee’s act of collecting blood for the poor and needy ailing humanity was highly commendable and, as such, office-bearers of the committee deserved full appreciation for their humanitarian work.
