At least 7 party workers, including MPA Rashid Khilji, badly injured
Armed terrorists of state-sponsored PSP injured at least seven MQM workers, including MQM MPA Mr Rashid Khilji, zonal member Rashid Mumtaz and a female worker, in an attack at the zonal office of MQM in Hyderabad.
According to details, several terrorists of PSP launched an unprovoked attack on Thursday evening at MQM’s Hyderabad office located at Bhai Khan Chari. MQM’s local member of provincial assembly Mr Rashid Khilji, who was meeting local residents at the time of attack outside the zonal office, was the main target of this vicious attack. Besides resorting to indiscriminate firing, the attackers also usediron rods andglass bottles leaving several MQM leaders and workers badly injured. Some victims were injured by shotgun pellets that the attackers freely used during the attack.
It to be reminded that this was second armed attack on MQM workers and the party offices in the span of the last 24 hours. In a similar attack, armed Haqiqi terrorists attacked MQM’s party office in Landhi area of Karachi and then opened firing on area residents who had assembled at the local police station to register a report of the attack. One MQM worker received gunshot wound during that attack.
While large scale arrests of peaceful political workers of MQM continue in Karachi, Hyderabad, Mirpurkhas and Sukkur, law enforcement agencies have made no arrests at all of those responsible for armed attacks on MQM workers.
