MQM condemns K-Electric on prolonged loadshedding

The Coordination Committee of Muttahida Quami Movement strongly condemned the K-electric over unnecessary and prolonged loadshedding or electricity breakdown during peak summer days.
In a statement, the Coordination Committee said that the K-Electric should ensure uninterrupted supply of electricity in the city because Karachiites had to pay higher tariff. It said that it was sheer failure of administration because it seemed no communication between transmission and distribution departments.
The Committee said that the K-Electric should immediately terminate incompetent officials and hire locals on merit to ease people. It said the Karachiites had been suffering twice as the incompetent management and higher billings. It demanded the Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif, Federal Minister for Water and Power, and Chief Minister Sindh Syed Qaim Ali Shah to stop K-Electric to exploiting rights and forced them to provide relief to the people.
