MQM condemns attack on Jaag TV

The Coordination Committee of Muttahida Quami Movement strongly condemned the attack on DSNG and workers of Jaag TV in front of Karachi Press Club by the miscreants.
In a statement, the Coordination Committee said that the workers were on their professional duty with DSNG while were attacked by some miscreants. It termed the attack was negation of the freedom of speech and should be condemned.
The Committee also condemned the attacks on other journalists and snatching of their professional equipment by the mob. It said that the government and the administration seemed existing nowhere was a sheer negligence of duty and incompetency.
The Coordination Committee expressed its heartfelt sympathies to the victims and strongly criticized the government for being unable to provide appropriate security in the red-zone area. It also demanded the authorities to take immediate notice against the attack and should take some stern action against the culprits.
