MQM urges using diplomatic channel for traders’ return

The Coordination Committee of Muttahida Quami Movement expressed its grave concerns over the arbitrary detention of more than 150 Pakistani traders at Moscow airport on yesterday.

In a statement, the Coordination Committee demanded the Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif to immediately take action and utilized the diplomatic channel to let their smooth return to the country. It said that more than 150 Pakistani traders were the participants of an annual convention visiting Russian city Moscow.

The Committee said the victims’ families are waiting for the government’s positive response and to want their beloved ones to get the country back. It also condemned the government over the diplomatic failure over the incident and suggested it to take all the measures for traders return.
