Dr Farooq Sattar congratulates Sharmeen Obaid Chinoy

The Senior Deputy Convener of Muttahida Quami Movement Dr Farooq Sattar thoroughly congratulated the Pakistani film director Shermin Obaid Chinoy for her latest achievement of attaining 2nd Oscar Academy Award for her documentary on honour killing.
In a statement, MQM leader thanked Shermin for raising the issue of honour killing in the country and let the world aware of such discrimination of rights. He said that unfortunately the obsolete tradition still being observed in Pakistan.
Dr Farooq also appreciated her for showing continuous involvement with her native people, especially with the women and their issues. He said that her 2nd time achievement of Oscar Academy Award brought happiness and pride in Pakistan.
