The Coordination Committee of Muttahida Quami Movement strongly condemned the terror attacks and firing incidents on police personnel in Islamabad, Lahore and Faisalabad, left killings of 6 policemen.
In a statement, the Coordination Committee said that the terrorists were targeting security personnel and innocent citizens all over the country. It expressed deep sorrow and grief over the deaths of policemen and pointed out that the overall security situation, especially Punjab, was deteriorating gradually.
According to the details, a policeman is in Islamabad, two are in Lahore and three are in Faisalbad killed in various firing incidents. It said that there should be a clean-sweep operation against the terrorists in Punjab to provide security and peace to the people.
The Committee demanded the Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif, Interior Minister Chaudhry Nisar Ali Khan, Chief of Army Staff General Raheel Sharif and Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif to take serious notice against such terror incidents and immediately started operation in Punjab against the terrorists. It also offered heartfelt sympathies to the bereaved families of the victims.
