Leader of the opposition in Sindh Assembly Khawaja Izharul Hassan said that MQM promoted peace and strongly condemned extremism and terrorism categorically.
Talking to the participants of a protest rally against the unconstitutional ban on MQM Chief Altaf Hussain’s speech, news and interviews, Khawaja said that the leaders of banned outfits travelled all over the country and their activities were also covered exclusively on media. He said that it was an irony that a prominent voice against the extremism and terrorism was deliberately suppressed.
He said that the people from all parts of the country, including Hyderabad started to raise their voice against the violation of human rights and freedom of speech for banning MQM Chief on media. He emphasized the importance of implementation of National Action Plan with its true spirit and all over the country, including Interior Sindh.
