Altaf Hussain warns govt. for demolish quarters’ victims

The founder and leader of Muttahida Quami Movement Mr. Altaf Hussain showed sympathy to the victims of demolished quarters of Sindh Assembly and strongly condemned the provincial government for not taking notice of the people who staged a sit-in in front of Assembly building.

In a statement issued from London Secretariat, MQM Chief demanded the government to immediately rehabilitate the demolished quarter victims. He said that the government should take the issue on humanitarian bases and should facilitate participants, including women and children of the sit-in.

He warned the government that if the issue would not be taken seriously then the entire Karachi would join them in the sit-in protest. He directed MQM workers and office-bearers to support the victims of the sit-in and demanded the government to immediately provide alternate residential facilities to them.
