Nadeem Nusrat laments playing of songs of victory after Charsadda tragedy

Acting Convener of MQM Nadeem Nusrat has strongly condemned the attack on Bacha Khan University in Charsadda in which over forty people including teachers, students and security guards lost their lives.
Mr Nusrat said, “We share the grief of the families of the victims but we see no reason in playing songs of victory soon after the tragedy.”
“Local administration, police, army and other agencies had prior information about the impending attack for the past ten days. Playing songs of victory would have been good if the terrorists had been dispatched to hell without any loss of life.”
Mr Nusrat lamented the political parties that were singing praises of the establishment and heaping praises of their bravery and said that their only purpose was to please the establishment.
