MQM Founder and Leader Altaf Hussain has asked the people of KPK, Balochistan and Sindh to cast away the cloak of disgrace. He asked if the honour of mothers, sisters and daughters in their provinces was in any manner less than mothers, sisters and daughters of Punjab.
Mr Hussain said that innumerable operations had been conducted in KPK, Balochistan and Sindh by army, paramilitary rangers and the FC on the pretext of law and order. Thousands of Pakhtuns, Sindhis, Balochis, and Mohajirs had been martyred during these operations or crippled for life.
Mr Hussain said that honour and dignity of women had been violated during these operations in the past and the army, rangers and the FC was once again being used in these provinces for carrying out operations.
Mr Hussain said PM Nawaz Sharif, COAS Gen Raheel Sharif and DG ISI Lt Gen Rizwan Akhtar had given unanimous assurances during the All Parties Conference held in 2013 that the operation would be conducted against “jet black terrorists.”
It was declared that the operation would be against those terrorists who had been attacking defence installations like Kamra Base, Naval Base, ISI headquarters, GHQ and those who had attacked the Army Public School. It was said that the operation would not be against any political party.
Mr Hussain said people were seeing that the scope of the operation was not extending beyond the three provinces. Punjab Government had categorically stated that operation in Punjab would be done by police and not by rangers and the FC.
Mr Hussain said that people of KPK, Balochistan and Sindh should cast off the cloak of disgrace against this flagrant injustice.
