People should be onboard on 34-nation alliance participation: Dr Farooq Sattar
Posted on: 1/4/2016 1
The Senior Deputy Convener Dr Farooq Sattar said that the current socio-political development forced new alliances in the world and MQM Chief Mr. Altaf Hussain’s foresightedness brought the issue into limelight.
Talking to the media persons on the occasion of “Muslims Unity Conference,” organized by Muttahida Quami Movement, Dr Sattar elaborated the view of his party chief regarding Pakistan’s participation of 34 nations’ alliance. He said that the political dynamics of Middle East was rapidly proceeding to a serious conflict but the government should avoid its involvement in any such hostility.
He appreciated all the religious scholars for unanimously supporting the cause to maintain peace and sectarian harmony in the country and to avoid any tension caused by Arab-Iran conflict. He said it was a good gesture from all the scholars when they made a human-chain to exhibit religious harmony and they clearly negated any participation against conflicting parties.
MQM Leader said that if the conflict would get prolonged, Pakistan should meddle to resolve the issue not to incite the crisis. He also demanded to reveal all the backdoor decisions and agreements regarding any participation in 34 nations’ alliance.
Meanwhile, Senator Maulana Tanvirul Haq Thanvi said that the proxy war between Russia and America badly dented the entire Ummah. He said that the gathering unanimously reached at the conclusion of religious harmony and sectarian tolerance.
Allama Abbas Kumaili said that the conference was timely called by MQM Chief to address the possible crisis of Muslim Ummah. He said that only genuine leadership could maintain such swift reactions on the issue. He applauded MQM Chief for his leadership qualities and called the timely conference “Zarb-e-Haq.”
The Leader of Jaffria Alliance Furqan Haider Abidi said that the people should live with love, respect and sectarian tolerance to each others. He said that the prevailing situation needed more attention towards maintenance of peace in the society and only MQM came up with such positive nodes.
The Authorized Successor of Hazrat Moinuddin Chisti (RA), Arman Asad Chisti said that whenever Islam, respect of Muhammad (PBUH) in danger or Ahl-e-Bait were being derogated by any mischievous mind, MQM Chief always came forward and fought against them. He said that the government claimed the system as democratic but Mr. Hussain’s speeches were banned reflected obsolete feudal mentality.
