MQM organized a ceremony in Jinnah Ground, Azizabad for taking organizational oath from the newly elected local government representatives. Waseem Akhter, Dr Arshad Vohra and other elected representatives took an oath to serve the people. MQM Founder and Leader Mr Altaf Hussain addressed the gathering from London.
Senior Deputy Conveners of MQM Dr Farooq Sattar, Amir Khan, Deputy Convener Syed Shahid Pasha, members of the Co-ordination Committee and Central Executive Committee, office-bearers of different wings of the MQM, MNAs, MPAs, workers of units and sectors, and a large number of people hailing from different areas of Karachi attended the ceremony.
Dr Farooq Sattar, Kunwar Naveed Jamil, Waseem Akhter and Dr Arshad Vohra addressed the participants. Dr Sattar took oath from the elected representatives.
