MQM observes 16th Dec to remember APS, Dhaka, Qasba-Aligarh victims

Muttahida Quami Movement has observed 1st death anniversary of the victims of Army Public School massacre, Qasba-Aligharh tragedy and Dhaka-fall with devotion and respect.
 
The day was observed with recitation of holy Quran and prayers for the victims. The programs were hugely participated by MQM workers, supporters and people of all walks of life. Member Coordination Committee Abdul Haseeb prayed Almighty Allah to confer high eternal rank to the victims of these tragedies.
 
Meanwhile, member Coordination Committee Kanwar Naveed Jamil said, “Today we gather to pay tribute to the victims of Qasba-Aligharh tragedy, martyrs of APS massacre and martyrs of Dhaka-fall. He said that all the tragedies were happened due to the rulers of their times. He also demanded to publish Hamood-ur-Rehman’s Commission’s report on East Pakistan tragedy.
 
Talking on the occasion, MQM leader Haider Abbas Rizvi said that Pakistan had to face number of unfortunate incidents in December, including Qasba-Aligharh tragedy, APS massacre and Dhaka-fall. He said that Indian freedom leader Maulvi Fazl-e-Haq, who presented Pakistan Resolution in 1940, was also Bengali.
 
He said that the stranded Pakistanis were forced to live in the Red-Cross camps miserably in Bangladesh but nobody wanted to acknowledge their unshattered commitment with Pakistan. He said, “By today’s gathering, we demand the government to bring all the stranded Pakistanis back to their homeland respectfully.”
