Altaf Hussain pays tribute to APS victims
The founder and leader of Muttahida Quami Movement, Mr. Altaf Hussain paid rich tribute to the martyrs of Army Public School on the occasion of 1st anniversary.
In a statement issued from London Secretariat, MQM Chief said that 16th December was the blackest day in the history of Pakistan when the terrorists massacred the innocent students and teachers. He prayed Almighty Allah to confer high eternal ranks to the martyrs and give courage to the bereaved families of the victims.
Mr. Hussain said that it was time to react against all such elements involved in heinous crimes and should be countered as national action plan. He said that not only the Taliban and other banned outfits but also their facilitators who supported all the terrorist activities.
Meanwhile, MQM also held a candlelight vigil to pay homage to the martyrs of APS at Lal Qila ground, Azizabad. Senior Deputy Convener Amir Khan, Deputy Convener Syed Shahid Pasha, members Syed Aminul Haq, Abdul Haseeb, Adil Khan, Aslam Khan Afridi, Zahid Mansoori, Kamal Malik, Gulfaraz Khan Khattak, Kanwar Naveed Jamil, Abdul Khanzada, Arshad Hasan, Arif Khan Advocate, Mateeur Rehman, Zareen majeed, Rehana Nasreen, members CEC, central wings, LG representatives, workers and supporters participated in the event.
