Altaf Hussain telephones wife of arrested Co-ordination Committee member Kamal Mallick

MQM Founder and Leader Altaf Hussain telephoned the wife of the member of Co-ordination Committee Kamal Mallick soon after hearing the news about the arrest of her husband by Rangers. He sympathized with her and said that every legal step will be taken to get Kamal Mallick released. 
Wife of Kamal Mallick informed Mr Hussain about the details of the raid on her home. She told that the Rangers personnel did not give any reason for thearrest. She said that Kamal Mallick had undergone a liver transplant surgery two years ago, and his health is not good. She said that she, her 14-year-old son and 11-year-old daughter were greatly worried about his well-being because of his physical condition. 
Mr Hussain told her that Kamal Mallick is a senior party worker, and she should not feel herself alone. Every legal step will be taken to get him released. He said that the concerned officials were being contacted for this. 
Mr Hussain condemned the arrest of Kamal Mallick and said his arrest was without any reason. He asked Rangers officials not to subject him to physical torture as he would not be able to bear it. He said it was not the issue of his life alone but also of his wife and children. 
Mr Hussain demanded immediate release of Kamal Mallick.
