JOINT SESSION OF THE CO-ORDINATION COMMITTEE IN PAKISTAN AND LONDON
KARACHI: 11TH JANUARY 2012:
A long and joint meeting of the Co-ordination Committee of Muttahida Quami Movement (MQM) in Pakistan and London was held today for deliberating on the current situation in the country. After prolonged discussions, the MQM has given a brotherly advice to the government as a coalition party that has stood by the government in difficult times to desist from confrontation with institutions. It was said that the country was passing through very sensitive times, and threats were closing in from all sides, and hence the country could not afford any confrontation. The meeting advised the government to ensure complete supremacy of the constitution and the law and stressed upon resolving the differences with all the institutions through negotiations. The interest of the country and the democracy lay in this approach. MQM leader Mr Altaf Hussain has approved the points discussed in the joint session of the Co-ordination Committee.
Fateha was offered for the spiritual leader of the Hurs Pir Sahib Pagara and condolences were extended to the followers, family members, and all other mourners. Urdu News
