MQM condemns manhandling of senior reporter Chand Nawab by Railways Police

MQM Co-ordination Committee has deplored manhandling of senior reporter Chand Nawab by Railways Police at the Karachi Cantt Station. The committee said it was equal to suppressing the freedom of journalism.
The Co-ordination Committee said that manhandling a senior reporter having international fame and stopping him from performing his professional responsibilities was highly condemnable.
The Co-ordination Committee demanded PM Nawaz Sharif, Minster for Railways Khawaja Saad Rafique, Chief Minister Sindh Syed Qaim Ali Shah, to take notice of the incident and take action against the Railways officials and Railways police personnel involved in it.
