MQM supports the demand for Fata province: Nadeem Nusrat
London: 15 September 2015:
Supporting the demand of Fata Grand Alliance for making Fata a separate province, Senior Deputy Convener of the MQM Nadeem Nusrat said the creation of new provinces is necessary for good governance and public welfare.
Mr Nusrat termed the draft proposal by the KPK government for amalgamating Fata in KPK province against the wishes of the tribal people. He said that the tribal elders have rejected this proposal and are calling for making Fata a separate province.
He said that there were similar demands for new provinces in Hazara, Southern Punjab, Pothohar, Bahawalpur, and other parts of the country.
Mr Nusrat said it was need of the time not to sacrifice the wishes of the people for creating new provinces on the altar of arrogance and ego. New provinces should be created on administrative grounds according to the wishes of the people.
