Rangers executed MQM worker Shahid Ghulam in a staged encounter

Shahid Ghulam was arrested on 6th August 2015
Shahid Ghulam, who was killed extrajudicially by Rangers in a staged encounter on Thursday, was a worker of Unit 75 of Korangi Sector. He was arrested on 6th August 2015 while he was busy in making arrangements for taking families of MQM martyrs to attend a programme at Nine Zero.
The family of Shahid Ghulam had filed a petition in Sindh High Court, but he was not presented in the court. Rangers executed him extrajudicially on Thursday and claimed that he was killed in an encounter.
Shahid Ghulam leaves behind a widow. He was married only two years ago. His father Ghulam Muhammad Khan and elder brother Amir Ghulam had also been MQM workers.
