MQM Member of the Pakistan National Assembly shot in Karachi

We are aware that MQM MNA Rashid Godil has been attacked when arriving home by car this morning at 11:55 AM.
Mr Godil’s car was intercepted by two unknown assailants riding a motorcycle who fired a number of shots into his vehicle. He has been transferred to hospital with critical injuries. Regrettably his driver died at the scene. Mr Altaf Hussain, Founder and leader of MQM, has said “I condemn this unprovoked attack which has left one man dead and another fighting for his life. All of our thoughts are with Mr Godil and his family at this time.”
