Mohajirs being treated like third grade citizens: If not UN, whose door to be knocked?, asks Altaf Hussain

Mutthida Quami Movement leader Mr. Altaf Hussain has said that people connected with MQM in Pakistan are being treated like third grade citizens. They are being illegally detained, arrested and tortured. The affected persons are not even getting justice from the courts, he regretted.
This he said while addressing the MQM office-bearers and workers of MirpurKhas, Sukkur, Nawabshah, Sanghar, Tando Allahyar and Jamshoro zones last evening.
Mr. Hussain said that if any community is mistreated and subjected to open injustices and atrocities on the pretexts of religions, linguism, culture, language or ethnicity than that oppressed community could knock the doors of United Nations for the security of their lives and property.
He regretted that till today not a single law enforcement agencies official was arrested or indicted in the cases of extra-judicial killings.
He asked that in such a situation if he does not knocks the door of International Court of Justice than to whom should he call for justice.
Mr. Altaf Hussain said that for the last 37 years instead of giving Mohajirs their due rights, they are being forcibly stopped to raise their voice.
They are being subjected to bias treatment in every walk of life and Altaf Hussain has continued his struggle for the last 37 years against these injustices being meted out to the Mohajir community.
He said that United Nations has been established to safeguard the rights of the people in every nook and corner of the world and it had many departments in which anybody can write if his community is being subjected to maltreatment, injustices or biasness.
And if it is found true than the Security Council of UN passess a resolution against that country or takes Suo Moto action and send notices to that very country against which the UN recives complaints that on such and such day, date and month the UN forces would take over the control of that country so that no powerful could overpower any weaker country. He said that even today Un forces are serving in over two dozen countries including Syrai, Jordan,Yemen, Afghanistanand Iraq. He said whenever the UN sees that the rulers of any country are committing atrocities on any grouop of people on the basis of religion, culture race or liguism they always use their good offices to secure their lives and properties.
He accepted that he had asked his people to write letter to the United nation with a view to informing them about the atrocities being committed on Mhajirs by the law enforcement agencies.
He said whatever “ I said, I said just because the Mohajir community is being treated like third grade citizens, they are being illegally arrested torutured and killed”.
He said when any arrested persons speak infront of a judge and complaint that his kidney have failed he is feeling pain the judges advises him to drink more water and extends his remand period. He asked that in such a situation when the Mohajirs are not getting justice from the courts, and there is no one in the country to listen the grievances of Mohajirs then whom should we contact, asked MQM leader?
He made it clear that he will never discontinue his struggle for the rights of the people come what may.
