Altaf Hussain congratulates the newly-elected vice president and councillors of Karachi Cantonment Board
London: 24th July 2015.
MQM Founder and Leader Altaf Hussain has urged the MQM elected representatives to serve the people who are facing innumerable problems. He said this while talking to the newly-elected vice-president of Karachi Cantonment Board Muhammad Mansoor. Newly-elected councillors Chaudhry Nasir, Bashir Ahmed and Munir Nelson were also present on the occasion.
Mr Hussain congratulated the vice-chairman and the councillors on their election. He added that serving the humanity was the foremost preaching of every religion. There is a hadith that says that serving humanity is the best form of worship.
He asked the elected representatives of the Karachi Cantonment Board to serve the people and discharge the responsibilities of their office with honesty. They assured Mr Hussain that they would leave no stone unturned for helping the people of their constituency.
