Hands of Shoaib Suddle are tainted with the blood of hundreds of Mohajir youths: MQM Co-ordination Committee
Karachi: 22nd July 2015.
MQM Co-ordination Committee has strongly condemned former IG Police Sindh Shoaib Suddle for making unfounded allegations against the MQM. It said that the hands of Shoaib Suddle are tainted with the blood of hundreds of Mohajir youths, and he is guilty of war crimes.
The Co-ordination Committee said everyone in Karachi knows that Shoaib Suddle started horrible atrocities against Mohajir youths. “They were arrested from their homes and subjected to brutal torture in custody and killed in cold-blood.”
“Heinous acts of barbarity and extrajudicial murders committed under the direct command of Shoaib Suddle makes a black chapter in the history of Pakistan. The Benazir government was sacked in 1996 because of these savageries against innocent people.”
“The first and foremost reason given by the president for dismissing the Benazir government was about the extrajudicial killings in Karachi, but, unfortunately, no action was taken against Shoaib Suddle and other police officers. Shoaib Suddle rewarded with a high office instead of being punished for his crimes.”
The Co-ordination Committee said that the allegation of Jinnahpur levelled by Shoaib Suddle had no basis. Such malicious allegations were brought against the MQM to vilify it and crush it.
The Co-ordination Committee demanded President Mamnoon Hussain that a commission comprising of judges of Supreme Court should be made for investigating the extrajudicial killings in Karachi as mentioned in the presidential order for dismissing the government in 1996. Shoaib Suddle and his accomplices should be tried given an exemplary punishment.
