MQM announces a big demonstration against continued anti-MQM and anti-Mohajir campaign by ARY
Demonstration will be held at the ARY head office in Karachi

Karachi: 23rd July 2015.
MQM Co-ordination Committee has announced to hold a peaceful demonstration against the continued anti-Mohajir and anti-MQM campaign by ARY. The demonstration will be held at 3:30 pm in front the ARY head office located in Saddar.
The Co-ordination Committee said that the ARY was using notorious killers to spread false and fabricated reports against MQM to vilify it and to lower the image of Mohajirs in the eyes of the people of Pakistan.
The Co-ordination Committee said that government agencies are funding this anti-MQM campaign that can be verified from the statement of Defence Minister Khawaja Asif. The minister had recently disclosed in a TV interview that two former heads of the ISI Lt Gen Shuja Pasha and Lt Gen Zaheerul Islam organized the PTI sit-in under the London Plan. People were asked to join the PTI, and substantial funding was arranged for this purpose through industrialists. Television channels were also used for this purpose.
The Co-ordination Committee said that a demonstration would be held in the Saddar area of Karachi against this continued vilification campaign against the MQM. It appealed to people across Sindh to take part in the protest demonstration on Friday.
The Co-ordination Committee asked the provincial chapters of MQM to hold demonstrations in their respective provinces at the local press clubs.
The Co-ordination Committee said that the MQM believed in the freedom of the press, but no one could be allowed to defame a political party, community or a segment of the population.
