People of Karachi have been disappointed by the indifferent attitude of PM Nawaz Sharif towards basic problems of Karachi

MQM Co-ordination Committee has said the people of Karachi have been disappointed by the indifferent attitude shown by PM Nawaz Sharif to the basic problems of Karachi during his visit. In a statement the Co-ordination Committee said that the Sindh Government was already unconcerned about issues in Karachi.
People of Karachi were expecting that PM Nawaz Sharif would announce steps for easing load-shedding and scarcity of water besides announcing compensation for the families of the people who died of head stroke. But the Prime Minister made no such announcement during his visit.
Although he expressed his sorrow on the deaths of 1200 people as a result of heat stroke but he did not bother to visit any hospital.
The Co-ordination Committee deplored the apathetic attitude of the Federal Government and the Sindh Government and said that it would increase the prevailing sense of deprivation among the people of Karachi.
