PM APPROVES MQM PROPOSALS FOR DEVELOPMENT OF SINDH

A delegation of Muttahida Quami Movement, led by Deputy Convener of MQM Co-ordination Committee and Federal Minister Dr Farooq Sattar called upon Prime minister Mr Yousuf Raza Gilani here on Monday. Prime Minister gave his approval for all the development projects for Karachi, Hyderabad and other cities of the Sindh Province that were proposed by MQM and gave assurance to allocate funds in the next budget for those projects.
The delegation also presented the “Shadow Budget’ to the prime minister and requested him to include the proposals in the next budget. The prime minster also accorded his approval for Lyari Expressway, Karachi-Hyderabad Super-High Way, Karachi Circular Railway, “K4 Project”, separate water supply schemes for Orangi Town, construction and development of infrastructure in Scheme 33 and extension of Hyderabad
airport. He also assured that the projects that had been kept in abeyance for along period of time would be started.
The MQM delegation thanked the prime minister for agreeing to the MQM proposals. Deputy parliamentary leader of MQM in National Assembly Mr. Haider Abbas Rizvi, Federal Minister Dr. Nadeem Ehsan, Senator Babar Khan Ghoury, MNAs Mr Iqbal Muhammad Ali, Dr Abdula Qadir Khanzadah, Mr Sohail Mansoor, Mr Sufyan Yousuf , Mr Asif Hasnian and Mr Tayyab Hussain were also present on the occasion.
