Condemning the terrorists’ indiscriminate firing on a car carrying Hazara community members in Quetta’s Masjid Road, Muttahida Qaumi Movement chief Altaf Hussain has termed the incident `an act of open terrorism’.
Voicing his serious concern over the incident that claimed four lives of the Hazara community, the MQM chief in a statement issued on Monday deplored that though the terrorists who, under a calculated move, have been continuously targeting Hazara community, had killed hundreds of people belonging to the community, not a single terrorist has, so far, been arrested.
Expressing sympathies and solidarity with the families of the victims of the incident, Mr Hussain prayed to Almighty Allah to rest the departed souls in eternal peace and grant courage to the bereaved families to bear this irreparable loss. He also prayed for early recovery of all those who sustained injuries in the incident.
The MQM chief demanded of President Asif Ali Zardari, Prime Minister Mian Nawaz Sharif, Federal Interior Minister Chaudhry Nisar Ali Khan and Baluchistan’s Chief Minister to take immediate notice of the targeted attacks on Hazara community, apprehend the terrorists involved in the heinous crime, giving them exemplary punishment.
