ALTAF HUSSAIN HAILS DECISION BY INDIAN SUPREME COURT
FOR ALLOWING DR KHALIL CHISHTI TO VISIT PAKISTAN

Founder and Leader of Muttahida Quami Movement (MQM) Mr Altaf Hussain has welcomed the decision by the Supreme Court of India to allow Dr Khalil Chishti to come to Pakistan. He has termed the decision a breath of fresh air in the relations between Pakistan and India. He said that President Asif Ali Zardari had raised the issue of the release of Dr Chishti in his meeting with the Indian Prime Minister Dr Manmohan Singh. He also commended the efforts made by renowned social worker Mr Ansar Burney in this regard. He congratulated the family members of Dr Chishti and the entire nation on the welcome decision of the India Supreme Court.
ALTAF HUSSAIN OFFERS CONDOLENCES ON THE DEATH OF NOTED QAWWAL ALI TAJI

Founder and Leader of Muttahida Quami Movement (MQM) Mr Altaf Hussain has expressed his grief and sorrow on the death of noted qawwal Ali Muhammad Taji. He offered condolences to the bereaved family members and prayed for the eternal peace of the departed soul. He said that the late qawwal attained success in his field and brought fame to the country because of his art. He said that Ali Taji would also be remembered by his admirers.

He sympathized with the bereaved family members and prayed for the divine forgiveness of the departed soul.
