Altaf Hussain demands to call KPK’s elections null & void, asks for repolling

The founder and leader of Muttahida Quami Movement Mr. Altaf Hussain demanded to call Khyber Pakhtunkhwa’s local government’s elections null and void after the mammoth evidence of rigging.
In statement issued from London Secretariat, MQM Chief said that the people’s democratic rights were snatched by force and demanded the Election Commission to announce repolling in the province. He said that the country had already been facing opposition on various fronts and allegedly accused for harboring terrorism, should at least hold free and fair elections.
Mr. Hussain strongly condemned record-breaking rigging in the elections, which caused defaming of the country. He said that the weapons, forced balloting and attacks on oppositions workers and supporters, were carried out openly. He said that all the media had been reporting about the rigging throughout the day on 30th May 2015, and no authoritative action would have been taken yet.
He demanded all the political and religious parties participated in the said elections should immediately take peaceful protest rally against the rigging during LG polls. He also demanded the President Mamnoon Hussain, Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif, Chief Justice of Pakistan and Chief Election Commissioner to take immediate notice against the alleged rigging, unrest and innocent killings during the elections.
