Muttahida Quami Movement has observed the 25th death anniversary of Pakka Qila tragedy victims with religious esteem.
In that connection, MQM organized programmes throughout the country, including Karachi, Hyderabad, Mirpukhas, Sukkur, Nawabshah and Lahore and the gatherings prayed for their abolition. The main programme was held at Lal Qila Ground, Azizabad and attended by In-Charge Coordination Kahiful Wara, members Qamar Mansoor, Syed Haider Abbas Rizvi, Gulfaraz Khan Khattak, Kanwar Naveed Jameel, Arif Khan Advocate, Azeem Farooqi, Wasim Akhtar, Shabbir Qaimkhani, Tauseef Khanzada, Senators, MNAs, MPAs, members of martyrs families, workers and supporters.
Talking on the occasion, MQM leader Syed Haider Abbas Rizvi said that the Pakka Qila incident was sore of the dictatorial democracy. He said that the security personnel committed cold-blood carnage of innocent people, including women, children and elders but the victims yet not received justice.
