MQM will observe a candlelight vigil today to pay homage to the victims of the Safoora Chowrangi massacre

MQM will hold a candlelight vigil in Jinnah Ground Azizabad after the Maghreb prayer to pay homage to the victims of the Safoora Chowrangi massacre. The MQM had announced to observe a day of mourning today to express solidarity with the Ismaili community.
Candles will be lit in Jinnah Ground in memory of the victim of the horrific attack resulting in the death of over 46 people. A one-minute silence will also be observed.
Members of the MQM Co-ordination Committee, Senators, MNAs, MPAs and office-bearers of different wings will take part in the vigil programme.
Similar gatherings will be held at the MQM offices throughout Pakistan.
