Haq Parast MNAs demand immediate recovery of MQM’s nine missing workers

MQM Haq Parast members of National Assembly have demanded immediate recovery of 9 missing MQM workers from the custody of the law enforcement agencies and bring an end to unconstitutional and illegal actions against party workers. In one of their joint statement issued here on Wednesday Haq Parast MNAS stated that the disappearance of 9 MQM workers under the detention of law enforcement officials and brutal torture upon them is not only the violation of fundamental human rights but it is also a violation of the rules and regulation of law and constitution. The family members of the missing MQM workers are demonstrating peaceful protests for the recovery of their loved ones but it is quite deplorable that people at the helm of affairs are taking no notice and action to apprehend the elements involved in these heinous, brutal and inhuman activities. The missing MQM workers are facing severe life threats. They said that illegitimate arrests of MQM workers and disappearance of nine of its workers since last so many weeks is a clear indication of the fact that MQM workers are being subjected to state cohesion and atrocities which need to be condemned in fullest. Haq Parast MNAS demanded to President Asif Ali Zardari, Prime minister Mian Mohammed Nawaz Sharif, Chief Justice Iftikhar Mohammed Chaudry, Governor Ishrat-Ul-Ibad and Chief minister Qaim Ali Shah to take stern and serious action and notice of the missing MQM workers and take practical, positive and concrete measures for their recovery.
