LONG SPELLS OF POWER OUTAGE HAS HIT PUBLIC LIFE AND INDSTRIAL ACTIVITIES

Mr Altaf Hussain, Founder and Leader of Muttahida Quami Movement (MQM), has expressed grave concerns on the worsening power crisis in the country. He has said that long spells of the power outage have not only made public life miserable but also affected the industrial and commercial activities badly. He said that the public was forced to come out on streets against long hours of load-shedding. He demanded of President Asif Zardari and Prime Minister Yousuf Raza Gilani to take urgent steps for ameliorating the power crisis in order to give relief to the suffering public.
