Muttahida Qaumi Movement chief Altaf Hussain on Wednesday expressed his grief and sorrow over the brutal killings of Muttahida’s Lyari Sector’s worker Kamran and Syed Shahid Ali, brother of Agra Taj Colony’s Sector Committee In-charge, Muhamad Naeem.
In a condolence message issued on Wednesday, Mr Hussain said that he and all workers of the MQM share the grief of the bereaved families.
He prayed to Almighty Allah to rest the departed souls of both Kamran and Syed Shahid Ali in eternal peace and grant courage to the bereaved families to bear this irreparable loss.
He urged the members of both the bereaved families to show restraint in this trying period.
Meanwhile, MQM Coordination Committee has strongly condemned the armed terrorists’ cowardly act of killing Kamran, a worker of the Lyari Sector (Unit-32) 28-year-old, son of Shabbir and Syed Shahid Ali, brother of Agra Taj Colony Sector In-Charge, Muhammad Naeem.
Terming the brutal killings of both the MQM workers `a part of deep conspiracy to destroy the city’s peace’, the Coordination committee in a statement issued on Wednesday said that the hardened criminals and terrorists had already targeted dozens of the MQM workers, sympathisers and their relative as well as a number of businessmen.
Expressing their grief and sorrow over the killing of Lyari Sector’s worker Kamran and brother of Taj Colony Sector, members of the Coordination Committee prayed to Almighty Allah to rest the departed souls in eternal peace and grant fortitude to bereaved families to bear this irreparable loss.
They also urged the members of the bereaved families not to lose their patience over the tragic incidents.
The Co-ordination Committee demanded of the president Asif Ali Zardari, Prime Minister Yousuf Raza Gilani, Federal Interior Minister Rehman Malik, Sindh Governor Dr Ishrat-ul-Ebad and Chief Minister Syed Qaim Ali Shah to take a serious notice of the killings of Kamran and Syed Shahid Ali and all other workers and sympathizers, besides arresting all the terrorists involved in the killings of innocent people and all those conspiring to vitiate the peaceful atmosphere of the city so that they could given exemplary punishment.
