MQM MNAs CONDEMN KILLINGS OF PARTY WORKERS

MQM IS ACTIVELY WORKING FOR PEACE AND BROTHERHOOD IN KARACHI

MQM MNAs have demanded immediate arrest of the brutal killers of MQM workers Rao Gulsher, Sultan and Anwer Alam. They have demanded that serious notice should be taken of the killing of three MQM workers in the last three days.
Rao Gulsher was the worker of Jamshed Town Sector of the MQM Punjabi Seraiki Organizing Committee (Karachi). Sultan was the worker of Unit 76 of MQM Korangi Sector while Anwer Alam was the worker of MQM Society Sector. He was also a councilor of the Jamshed Town.
In a joint statement the MNAs said that the MQM is the representative political party in Karachi and it is actively working for promoting peace, brotherhood and amity among various nationalities living in the city. They said that certain elements were targeting the MQM workers and office-bearers for their vicious objectives.
They demanded of President Asif Zardari, Prime Minister Yousuf Raza Gilani, Federal Interior Minister Rehman Malik, Governor Sindh Dr Ishrat-ul-Ebad and Chief Minister Sindh Syed Qaim Ali Shah to take notice of the brutal killings of the MQM workers and bring the perpetrators to book.
They extended condolences to the families of Rao Gulsher, Sultan and Anwer Alam and prayed for the eternal peace of the departed souls.
