How is it possible for the terrorists to kill people despite heavy presence of police, rangers and law-enforcing agencies
The Founder and Leader of Muttahida Quami Movement (MQM) Mr Altaf Hussain has strongly condemned the brutal killing of Syed Fasahat Ali in an incident of firing near Sindhi Muslim Society area of Karachi. Fasahat Ali was a former member of the Society Sector of the MQM, and presently he was discharging his responsibilities as a member of the Election Cell of the sector. He had left the sector office for his home, and he was attacked by armed terrorists near Sindhi Muslim Society. He died on the spot.
Condemning the killing of Fasahat Ali, Mr Hussain said that Fasahat Ali was the fourth MQM worker who was killed in a row during the past 24 hours. He deplored that on the one hand, MQM workers were being killed extrajudicially while, on the other hand, bloodthirsty terrorists were slaying them one after another. How was it possible for the terrorists to carry out their nefarious activities despite the heavy presence of police, rangers and other law-enforcing agencies?
Mr Hussain asked if the terrorists killing MQM workers were using magical powers to vanish into thin airs after carrying out their task. No investigation was being carried in any case, and no arrest was made.
Mr Hussain demanded of President Asif Zardari, Prime Minister Mir Hazar Khan Khoso, and caretaker Chief Minister Sindh Zahid Qurban Alvi to take serious notice of the unending killings of MQM workers. He said that the killings should be thoroughly investigated, and the perpetrators brought swiftly to justice.
Mr Hussain expressed deep sympathies to the mourning family members of the Fasahat Ali and said that he was sorely grieved on the killing of yet another senior worker of the party. He prayed Almighty Allah to shower His blessings on the departed soul and give courage and patience to the bereaved family members.
