MQM demands probe for worker’s custodial killing

The Coordination Committee of Muttahida Quami Movement demanded to probe the custodial killing of member of MQM’s KMOC Wing Abdul Majeed due to brain hemorrhage after being transferred to a private hospital.
In a statement, the Committee said that he was arrested in Ibrahim Haidery area on 31st January 2015 from his home and after days of torture, he was transferred to the jail on 20th February 2015. It said that due to intense torture, he suffered fatal brain hemorrhage in the custody and later transferred to a private hospital.
Meanwhile, MQM Chief Mr. Altaf Hussain expressed his deep sorrow and grief over the custodial killing of MQM’s Abdul Majeed and said that all the MQM’s workers were along with the bereaved family at the time of grief. He also prayed Almighty Allah to confer high eternal rank to the sad demise.
