Establishment should change its mindset and give up prejudice: Altaf Hussain

The founder and leader of Muttahida Quami Movement said that Karachi had been handed over to the banned-outfits or terrorists while MQM was being cornered in the name of Karachi-operation.
Talking to Geo TV, MQM Chief said that it was the time for Establishment to stop the discrimination against MQM and change its mindset. He expressed his sorrow over the recent wave of targeted killings in the city and said that firstly the social worker was killed and now the University Professor Dr Waheed-ur-Rehman was murdered in a targeted-killing.
Mr. Hussain said that in the past MQM was blamed to be responsible for all the incidents and because of those allegations, operations were conducted against MQM and its leadership and workers were also arrested. He said that the paramilitary was deputed all over the city now and people were right to ask the question that who kept killing the innocent civilians.
He said that when I told former Army Chief General (retd) Pervaiz Ashraf Kayani and ex-Chief Justice of Pakistan Iftikhar Muhammad Chaudhry were involved in the long-march to depose former President General (retd) Pervez Musharraf; no one believed me and now on TV channels people have started to comment on the issue exclusively.
