London May 11, 2013:- Founder & Leader of Muttahida Quami Movement (MQM) Mr. Altaf Hussain while congratulating Punjab’s representative party PML-N in its victory in 2013 General Elections, and terming Nawaz Sharif as an authentic leader of Punjabis, has also said that he was even happy to see that the slogan of “Jaag Punjabi Jaag, Teri Pug Nu Lag Gaya Daagh” has turned into a reality.
Mr. Hussain went to say that due to Nawaz Sharif’s consistent position on the said slogan has finally paid off. Mr. Hussain congratulated Mr. Nawaz Sharif and all the Punjabis from the deepest of his heart. Mr. Hussain said that he is hoping that being the leader of the largest province of Pakistan, Mr. Sharif would treat rest of the three non-Punjabi provinces on equal grounds and with justice and honesty, so that the national harmony flourishes, hatred diminishes and Pakistan progresses.
