Those who fight for election tickets cannot bring any change in the country: Altaf Hussain

There was no wrangling on the announcement of names of the MQM candidates
The Founder and Leader of Muttahida Quami Movement (MQM) Mr Altaf Hussain has said that the MQM is the only party in the country that has the distinction of announcing names of election candidates from all over Pakistan in one day and at one place. He said this while talking on the telephone to office-bearers of the MQM Upper Punjab in Islamabad.
Mr Hussain congratulated the candidates nominated by the MQM and said that the discipline maintained at the time of announcement of names of election candidates was unparalleled. There was no fighting, no wrangling and everyone congratulated each other after the names were announced.
Mr Hussain said that only disciplined parties could change the destiny of the country and the parties that had awarded tickets on the basis of personal likes and dislikes cannot bring about any change in the country. Only discipline could ensure self-restraint and equality. If anyone wanted to see a practical demonstration of discipline, he could see it in the MQM.
Mr Hussain said that the MQM did not merely raise hollow slogans of empowering the poor and middle-class people, but it had actually awarded tickets to people of humble origins. The MQM believes in the dignity of work, and the fact that only hardworking people could hope to attain a respectable position in the society.
The workers and office-bearers congratulated Mr Hussain on the announcement of the MQM candidates. Mr Hussain asked them to work diligently for spreading the message of the MQM without caring about victory or defeat.
